This HF-GateWay is running on a SCS-PTC2.

It offers the following commands:

Every entry in the main directory is the name of a sub-directory.
You can list the contents of every sub-directory by using Dir sub-directory (name of sub-directory).
Also see List command.

Erase
allows you to delete one or more files.
Format: see Read command
Delete commands without filenumber are not possible.
Only files for you or from you can be deleted on the remote side of the system.

Gate
this command controls the PR->PACTOR HF-Gateway.

Without argument: Shows the channel list.

With a target CALLSIGN as argument:
System tries to establish HF-Link on channels with CALLSIGN in the comment field.
E.g.: G DL2FAK

If a channel number is appended to the CALLSIGN:
System tries to establish HF-Link on defined channel.
E.g.: G DL2FAK 22

Gateway connects are only possible on channels with enabled Gate-flag.

*** WARNING: YOUR CALLSIGN WILL APPEAR ON HF/SHORT WAVE!
*** PLEASE DO NOT USE THE HF-GATE WITHOUT HF-LICENSE!

Help
shows the list of possible commands.
If you type Help cmd (cmd is one specific command from the list), you will get detailed help information about cmd (the contents of this current page).
Most of the commands can be abbreviated by using only the first part (marked as upper case letters or being outside of brackets).

List
shows the contents of any existing sub-directory.
Without argument the contents of the actual sub-directory (path) will be listed.

LOg
lists the last 16 entries of the PTC user logbook.
The character in front of the call signs is defined as follows:

am=amtor-, p=pactor-, x=packet-access, s=sysop-call.

POSition

POS NMEA <Enter> shows an NMEA-compatible GPS sentence.

Quit /Bye
BBS carries out Disconnect.

Read
shows the contents of every existing file.

Format: Read filename filenumber

If you do not specify the filename, the actual sub-directory (path) will be used instead of filename.
f you do not specify the filenumber, the first file will be read if the sub-dir contains only a single file, otherwise the sub-dir will be listed.
ou can read a list of files at once if you use extended filenumbers like 1- or simply 3-5, etc.

Send / Write
initiates file writing.

Format:   S filename [title of file] (title optional)

After getting back the keys, you can upload any text/7PLUS file.
Termination of file writing can be done either by performing a changeover or typing control-z or nnnn (HF-Port) or ***end (PR-Ports) at the remote side.
The Sysop can terminate file writing simply by typing the ESC-character once.
The filename is interpreted as sub-dir name and (if required) a new sub-dir will be generated.
